Stunning

Pros: This is a beautiful villa set it its own grounds in the foothills of Franschhoek. The BBQ and Hot tub are excellent additions to give you flexibility for an evening in if you want. The breakfast was excellent and so were all the staff. I would highly recommend walking over to the Farm and do the wine tasting. The Villa is a short walk into town and you can catch Uber taxis home no problem. This is an excellent property and well worth a visit.

Cons: The check in was delayed and check out was a prompt 10am. I found this a little early and feel 11am is a better time to enjoy the morning breakfast.

Can’t wait to go back

Great stay at La Villa

Pros: The interior of the whole property was beautiful and the views surrounding it were amazing. We liked the location of the hotel as it was a nice 15/20 minute walk into the centre of Franschhoek, however it was very easy to catch an Uber to and from the property. The breakfast had a great variety of cold options such as pastries, fruit, yoghurt, granola and there was also the option for hot food which was eggs cooked to how you like them. It is worth a visit over the road at “Pigcasso” farm sanctuary if you choose to stay here, it will not disappoint :)

Cons: We booked a superior room which was lovely, however the way that the shower is designed caused it to flood every time we showered. We had to prevent this by placing 4 towels on the floor outside the shower room.

Relaxing stay in a great property

Pros: A lovely property in a stunning location. High quality fixtures and fittings, and really helpful and friendly staff. The complimentary wine tasting was fun, and should you want to go out on an evening the staff can arrange a taxi for you with a trusted provider.

Perfect place, can’t wait to return.

Pros: We stayed I. The stone cottage. It was excellent. Everything was great about our stay. Staff go above and beyond to make your stay fantastic!

Comfortable break away from the city

Pros: The bed and air-conditioned room was very comfortable. The biggest benefit was that it is pet-friendly and my dogs come along for the vacation. Great outdoor space for picnics ans staff was very accommodating of our pets.

Cons: La Villa has a puppy sanctuary on the premise where you can play with puppies ready for adoption. Due to the sanctuary, we found some dead ticks in the room.

Pros: A really, very lovely place to stay. It is tucked away in a very quiet residential area, with a very short uber or walk into town. We had a great breakfast and really enjoyed the wine tasting. The pool is nice and the gardens just very peaceful and relaxing! Oh and the room was fab!
