W-Collection Franschhoek L'Ermitage Villas

Modern, comfortable, peaceful and very enjoyable 5 days!

Pros: The property was very modern, clean, great facilities, walking distance from the centre ( 15-20 mins), quiet, safe and comfortable. Kitchen had a great selection of pots, pans and dishes too! The beds were really comfortable and the aircon meant we were nice and cool on hotter nights. Any niggles or questions were immediately answered through WhatsApp. We had the option of having our apartment serviced daily, should we wish. I can honestly say I have rarely stayed in accommodation with such a fast response team - thank you particularly to Tinashe who was there as soon as we asked for anything. We had a lovely holiday. Thank you to the W-Collection Group.

Cons: Nothing.Gerhardt Jooste, CEO of W-Collection, has high standards. Any small thing I might have listed here was sorted out immediately.

Must stay in Franschhoek.

Pros: The property was beautiful, it looks exactly if not better than the pictures with a ‘postcard view’ of the mountains. A beautiful tranquil place to stay a short distance from the main high street in Franschhoek. The staff were exceptional in making sure we had everything we needed, no matter the time and made us feel welcome for the entirety of our trip. We will be staying here again

Pros: The villa was beautifully decorated and extremely spacious , home from home really

Cons: The Pool could have been tiled better to represent a swimming pool ..

French Apartment in the heart of Franschhoek

Pros: The special touches make it feel like a French apartment. There is so much care and love in the decor. Central, neat, and clean.

A calm stay in Franschhoek

Pros: Lovely accommodation. Excellent staff and servicing of accommodation. Wonderful outlook over water and mountains but walkable distance from the village in daylight.

Pros: Really comfortable villa located in a beautiful property. Would love to stay there again!

Beautiful Stay

Pros: Everything, was truly so beautiful and such a nice spot!!

Cons: If we really had to pick something it would just be that the shower head wasn’t great - pressure wasn’t 100% but that’s so small in the grand scheme of things. Overall stunning stay.

Great accomodation in a magnificent setting

Quiet location but with easy access to town and surrounding vineyards. Excellent staff service.

Pros: Well decorated apartment with beautiful view of mountains. Staff always on hand to assist .

Cons: Unfortunately there were ongoing digging works right outside the front of the apartment

Excellent accommodation and value for money.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, spacious, well appointed lake side apartment with all the amenities for self catering living. Beautiful views over the surrounding mountains. Communication from the management was excellent throughout, from arrival to check out. During our stay we had a burst water main in the area which necessitated water being turned off, and also a lengthy internet outage - neither incidents being the fault of the property, but communication about what was happening was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone.

Cons: The property was just on the outskirts of Franschhoek, going out of town up a hill, but easily walkable down hill into town (approx 1 mile), but wouldn't necessarily want to walk back at night either up the hill or from a security point of view, but Ubers are cheap and plentiful, so not a deal breaker.
