Pros: The welcome and attention to detail for example, pristine, high quality bedding and a phone to use for local calls.

Cons: Maybe, and I’m being very picky, the shower could be spruced up

Relaxation in beautiful surroundings

Pros: Beautifully decorated. The best hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff are amazing- the breakfast outstanding- the room was so comfortable and the decor throughout the hotel is just lovely.

Cons: I loved everything! Very sad to leave.

Absolute perfection 🫶🏻

Pros: I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it’s one of the nicest and most unique and very stylish hotels I have ever stayed in, and I’ve travelled a lot! Our room was sensational and the drinks in the Orangerie both before and after dinner in town, all complimentary, was out of this world. The Main Street in Franschhoek with its fab restaurants and shops is just a short walk away, so just book it, you will not be disappointed! Declan and his team have created something very special here, well done 👏🥰

The most beautiful hotel

Pros: The most beautiful boutique hotel with the kindest owner. We stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon and our stay was perfect. We enjoyed: the beautiful interior design, the friendly staff, the drinks hour in the orangery, the beautifully relaxing pool, the amazing breakfasts, the location.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was beautiful with nothing being too much of an ask.

Pros: This is a little oasis within the paradise that is Franschhoek. The staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. We loved it! P.S. If you are in a hurry don’t start a conversation with Declan 😀

Wonderful stay in Franschhoek

Pros: Incredible stay at this amazing hotel. Declan and his team could not be more welcoming. The breakfast choice is superb and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Wonderful place to stay when in Frankroesch, exactly the vibe you expect in the region.

Pros: Wonderful boutique hotel in Frankroesch owned and runned by Declan who is passionate about hospitality and his guests. We had the most simple rooms inside the main house but they where already fantastic, large, very nicely decorated with vintage furniture and super clean and functional. The villa’s or flats looked amazing with their own small pools and garden. The 6pm cocktail in the orangerie was a good occasion to meet other guests from the 8 other rooms, maybe just missing a couple of things to bite. The village is walking distance and very safe day and night. The pool is just there to refresh but very nicely done with extremely comfortable sunbeds. Breakfast was extraordinary, fresh fruite, homemade granola and amazing menu. The staff was excellent and constantly looking at making our stay the best possible. We can’t wait to come back!

Cons: Not for guests looking for a gym, a large pool to swim in or great restaurants within the hotel, but for us everything was perfect, intimist, friendly and understated luxury.

Pros: Declan and the team have thought about everything. It’s home from home. Rare for such standards to he upheld , especially in independent places. Incredible.
