Pros: Gorgeous cottage with stunning views. Comfortable beds, well equipped and friendly staff.

Lovely old building with wonderful views

Pros: Beautiful building with breathtaking views over Franschhoek. Lovely pool though they leave the pool cleaner device in all day which meant dodging around the hosepipe. We watched the sunset with a bottle of their wine and it was a perfect end to the day. A 10 - 15 minute walk downhill on a safe road into Franschoek and Ubers available within a few minutes of calling them.

Cons: The breakfast was good but the service was very slow. Insufficient towels and they were thin and a bit grey - we used the pool towels when we realised there weren't enough. Grout on the floor of the shower was grubby and not enough hot water to fill the bath. It looked lovely in the corner of the huge bathroom with original floor tiles and a chandelier but was only useful if you like a tepid bath.

Pros: Everything was amazing, from the staff, to the views and the facilities. I had an relaxing stay and enjoyed it thoroughly. Will definitely be back.

Pros: Great place to stay, with wineries very close by and amazing views. The only downside was that our stay was far too short — just one night. We’d definitely stay here again.

Pros: Amazing location! Great views from the terrace and pool. Room was very spacious and clean. Staff was super friendly and especially Henry! Thank you! Walking distance from restaurant arkeste, great place for dinner!

Pros: Stunning peaceful location, well equipped 2 bed cottage. Comfy bed, air con, attentive staff. Pool towels and an additional pool at lower manor house were an unexpected surprise!

Cons: Pillows could do with replacement.

Perfect relaxing stay

Pros: The property was perfect - clean and furnished nicely, stunning views and fantastic staff. My husband wasn’t well and they could not have been more accommodating. Would highly recommend we will return.

Cons: Nothing but would recommend a car if you are staying in the chalets- we had one so was no issue for us.
