A wonderful hotel with all the right touches in a fantastic location.

Pros: You are given a lovely welcome and tour of the facility. Great suggestion about restaurants nearby. Their location is perfect. Just a short walk to to the centre of town. They are super helpful and so accommodating. It is a just ask us culture and we will do our best to accommodate. There is a spa on site where we enjoyed massages. The breakfast was lovely and the entire experience was peaceful.

Cons: We moved rooms in the middle of our stay at their request. It was sold and an upgrade, but they clearly needed our room for other guests, and we did not mind. I did not mind either room, however the first one was more to my liking. It had a separate toilet in the bathroom, which is a huge plus and the beds were more comfortable. We lost the bench ottoman at the bottom of the bed, which was a nice to have, and we had nobody staying on either side of us or above us. The new room had a bigger pool which was nice.

Great stay in Franchoek at this small hotel specialising in the personal touch

Pros: Very well appointed in terms of walking in and around Franchoek. My husband has mobility issues but could manage most of the steps and levels here. We had a large room with its own dip pool and patio. Lovely. The communal swimming pool is large enough for excercise too!

Cons: Nothing to criticise regarding this hotel. The staff could not be more helpful and the breakfast was great

Short stay in Franschhoek

Pros: Excellent hotel in Franschhoek. Staff were very helpful for anything we needed. Room was very comfortable and quiet

Pleasant and welcoming

Pros: The staff really set this place apart. Really helpful and friendly. The hotel is a couple of blocks from the main road through Franschhoek near all the restaurants and bars. We stayed in the old converted part of the hotel. Quite nice rooms. Could have done with a fridge in the room, a box of tissues and better wifi. But in general a nice place to stay. Very tasty breakfasts served on a nice terrace. Free off road parking at the property.

Pros: The staff were outstanding, the room was spacious and clean, and nicely appointed. Breakfast was excellent.

Cons: This is terribly subjective, but we felt our room was somewhat lacking in charm. The rooms in the old part of the property are perhaps more charming , but we swopped to a room in the newer section because the room we were initially allocated in the original house was without outlook and felt enclosed and, to be honest, a bit contrived.

Pros: Great location, close to the city centre. Excellent breakfast. Clean comfortable rooms and beds. Great staff!

Pros: Location is absolutely perfect - 1 street back from the Main Street where everything is, car parking is secured and bang outside the front door, staff are amazing. Really good complimentary breakfast, room had TV with DSTV/NetFlix/Prime/YouTube in addition to having USB sockets for charging

Cons: The bed was too firm for us, but other than that I genuinely cannot complain, I have been going to Franschhoek for 10 years and its probably the best place we have stayed, booked to go again in February
