Island Club Hotel & Apartments

Pros: I loved the spaciousness of the room. After my last 3 stays in tight quarters, the space was really great. The bath was wonderful. It is becoming more difficult to find accommodations with baths. The location, if you like Century City, is great. The mall is a very short walk away. I loved the pools, and they have a nice gym. The entire gated community is very secure. The view of the canal from my room was beautiful.

Cons: The room can do with a bit of care. The signs of wear and tear are showing, especially on some furniture. Getting to the room requires moving through a short but badly lit passage. I read in one of the reviews about the superb breakfast. I was very disappointed. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The mall offers great breakfast options at a cheaper price

Cons: Breakfast options. Check out was very rushed. Started calling us frantically 15mins after the cut off time. However, I guess it's the policy.

Nice for a shopping weekend

Pros: The staff were great. Helpful friendly and welcoming. The room was well equipped and the bed comfortable. Everything was clean

Cons: It is located within an apartment block separated by a locked door. Hard to get directions to eateries or the restaurant. The water isn't drinkable but only small water bottle was available. More water and a good coffee maker or plunger rather than instant sachets would be a nice touch. 😊

Our stay in Cape Town

Pros: We were three people from Mauritius. The place was safe with cleanliness. We were accomodated in an apartment just in front of the canal. Ever evening we went to the mall. No annoying noise etc. We rented a car for these ten days and visited almost all places in Cape Town apart from the Safari. In the kitchenet we could prepace some and our vreakfast. Ms. Nabeela and the other staff were excelent in response.

Cons: One day we forgot one bag outside our apartment while alighting from the car. The next day, we went to the office to have a look at the cameras. The lady staff called the security about same. He said he had collected it. The next day we got our bag but few things were missing. I called Nabeela, she said when they looked into the cameras, they saw it was ours. I told her I had inform a lady there about the missing items. The lady told me that may be they kept them in the fridge. But they insisted that only these things were in the bag. It was not a big deal for us. But what they could have done that on the same day, they could deliver us our bag as they already knew it was ours.

Pros: Location , sheets and amenities , staff was excellent and security was perfect

Cons: Bed Skepe , no hairs conditioner for hair

Always good to come home

Pros: The surprise upgrade and special gift for returning once again was awesome. The suite was spacious, spotlessly clean. The staff was exceptional and took care of all the minor details of arriving and checking in. It was so good to be back again, Thanks to Nabeelah, The manager and her Awesome Team.

Pros: The hotel and Apartments are located in the Canal Walk complex, next to the Canal Walk Mall. The staff were exceptional in answering questions, always available to help with directions. The manager was also always available for any questions or concerns.

I came for one night and stayed for 3 nights, awesome

Pros: The property is located on the Canal Walk complex, next to the canal walk mall. The security is excellent from the time you reach the property and during your stay. There are many walking trails

Nice stay at Century City

Pros: Very close to large shopping center with all amenities

Cons: All good
