Onrus Cottage

Pros: This was surely a cozy warm home. It was exceptional 👏

Cons: There is non to dislike.

This cottage is a winner - absolutely brilliant!!

Pros: We really loved our stay at Onrus Cottage. Dave is a wonderful host who is so friendly and helpful. The cottage is absolutely beautiful. It has everything you need, and more, to make your stay comfortable. We loved the braai (barbecue) room with the large dining table and used the fireplace inside for the chilly evenings. The kitchen was spacious and exceptionally well equipped. I loved the gas stove, microwave and air fryer. The cottage is within walking distance to the ocean, by Davies pool. We had so many walks along the beach front. The area is very peaceful and we felt safe walking in the street. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms very spacious. If I could give this cottage a higher rating, I certainly would. We will definitely be back to visit again.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

Dave you are an amazing and kind host. Your house made us feel spoilt. It was a lovely well deserved getaway!

Pros: Such a stylish and well stocked home. Comfortable furnishings you could just laze in all day. Indoor fire was a blessing and we enjoyed huddling around it at night for a good giggle.

Cons: That it’s not mine 😂

Home from home.

Pros: Spacious, attention to detail. Quiet. Location walking distance from Davies Pool.

Cons: Front and back entrances difficult to open. Louvre blinds difficult to manage. A pain to have to keep closing them but no way to securely keep them upright when open.

Perfect spot for a weekend away.

Pros: Comfortable home on the border of Onrus and Vermont. Walking distance to the Davies Tidal pool. We loved the outside fire pit.

Cons: Access was a bit tricky. Manual gate at the back of the property.

Beautiful, comfortable home in excellent location.

Pros: Lovely hosts, great location especially for a family with kids. Spacious, comfortable home with lovely little touches that helped us enjoy our stay in Onrus even more.

Pros: Just about everything, peace and quiet, the coziness and comfort of the cottage, it had everything you needed. A home away from home with a little extra. Worth every penny spent and a great place to visit again and again..........

Everything we needed and more

Pros: Everything was great. Super clean, and comfortable and the colour coded keys were a huge plus ! We had a lovely time on the sea front path and relaxing the fire
