Great location for exploring the many wineries and also relaxing around the lovely swimming pool.

Pros: Basco River Lodge is in an amazing setting. It was lovely to sit outside around the large swimming pool, looking out onto the lovely gardens and not see any other dwellings - just lovely greenery and an abundance of birds.

Cons: There is no TV, which is unusual. If you 're a sports enthusiast it would be a good idea to take one with you - or a laptop.
