Driftwood Beach Villa

Pros: RONELL&DARREL were the best hosts. Met us with a lovely welcome and full intro to the house and features. Also responsive to queries during the stay. Gave some great recommendations of eateries in the area. The sea views were incredible . The house was wonderfully spacious and is an entertainers dream home. Its full of the most beautiful and precious things someone has spent a long time collecting. Still managed to have a warm and homely atmosphere.

Cons: We had to leave.

A great choice for our stopover on the way to Cape Town

Pros: The location right on the water is exceptional, with gorgeous views over the bay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The bathrooms were very cold in winter.

Pros: The villa is right on the water, and you get beautiful views from almost every room. We swam often, and enjoyed sitting on the balcony taking in those stunning vistas and sunsets. Our family of six - three couples - enjoyed a very special weekend here. We all had our own space, and there's plenty of communal space where we could relax together. The villa has pretty much everything you need, and Ronel and Darrell were super helpful and attentive. We really loved our weekend there.

Pros: Attention to detail (e.g., fresh milk in the fridge and rusks on arrival); Location, location. Hosts are friendly, helpful and caring. A small problem with a key was resolved in less than 20 minutes. I will recommend Driftwood any day!

Loved our stay. It was so special and exactly what we wanted for a restful holiday.

Pros: The hosts were friendly and welcoming and provided all the information regarding the property and local attractions to make our stay exceptional. We loved the location, we loved the beautiful interior of the house. We absolutely loved that the house is right on the ocean and that we can sit on the porch and just enjoy our surroundings and the cool sea breeze. We will definitely book again.

Cons: For us the property and our experience was perfect. Nothing not to like. Guests should note that the property has steep stairs to reach the ground level of the property. It may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

Pros: Spacious, beautifully furnished with antiques!, stunning views and access to private beach at low tide, water access at high tide. An exceptional house with a great location.

Pros: Excellent house. Very clean. Modern fittings in kitchen and bathrooms and well maintained. Location right on the beach with own private steps down to the sea and beachfront. Check-in was superb and personal by the host. Well explained and not rushed. DStv and WiFi were good.

Pros: We absolutely loved the location. When they say you're on the beach... It's literally ON THE BEACH. This place is pure heaven. The description doesn't do it justice. It's honestly one of the top 3 properties we have stayed at throughout my travels ! The view is second to none and the hosts were very attentive when needed, very accomodating and wonderful to deal with !!!

Cons: There's nothing we didn't like except that we had to leave, but it's the kind of place where beautiful lasting memories are made !

Pros: The entire experience was magical. The highlight was the location. You literally step onto the beach! The house is luxurious with plenty of room and everything you could want. The hosts were friendly and gracious and went out of their way to make our stay truly memorable. We will most certainly be back again. Even though this property was only recently added on Booking.com and therefore, doesn't have too many reviews, I would definitely recommend this as a perfect family getaway.

Cons: There is really nothing that I can find fault with.
