Old Mac Daddy

Perfect staycation close to the city in a beautiful setting.

Pros: Great facilities and staff. Apple Grove exceeded our expectations.

Pros: The beach area was awesome with its own bar facility. We did the wine tasting at South Hill which was value for money and it includes kids tasting as well. The kids movie nights with free popcorn was a great treat for the kids. Towels are offered at the pool and beach area. Staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The wifi is terrible and there's no normal signal. . The kids play room could do with a few extra couches especially for movies nights, and well as a few upgrades like some gaming facilities for older kids.

A Cabin/trailer in the woods

Pros: Very green and beautiful place, much to do and very entertaining, also peacefull and friendly staff. The activities are very cheap. Overall a very worth it stay and will come again.

Cons: The Birdie rooms aircon did not work wich is not pleasant with the heat and almost impossible to sleep, especially when you have to open the windows for air then the bugs come in, luckily they moved us to another room the next day wich was a much more worth it room for the same price, be sure to ask for a room with a hot tub. But the stay overal was very worth it and will come again

A gem in Botrivier!

Pros: A great stay that I needed at that time in my trip. I had been flat out for 3 weeks, and slowed down here. The staff and management were great! Friendly and generally lovely. Ive booked to go back on my next trip to South Africa March 30th e

Pros: The tiny homes was comfortable, beautiful ly decorated and clean. We enjoyed the private hot tub.

Cons: Our Smeg coffee machine didn't work but the manager came to fix it. Thereafter we could make 1 cup of coffee then the machine was out of order again. Also they don't have a wide variety of breakfast meals for halaal guests. The buffet breakfast is setup infront of the bar which is so uncomfortable for a Muslim person to have to sit and have breakfast there. With the result we didn't eat breakfast there at all.

Superb family-friendly stay!

Pros: So such to do, especially for the kids! Loved all the activities to do right there - the staff were excellent with them, and it was a really relaxed and lovely environment. We will definitely be back!
