Le Bay Lodge

Pros: Friendly staff Very clean and neat Very quiet Amazing

Just what we needed

Pros: We had such a lovely stay at the lodge. The room was comfortable my family slept well. It was a wonderful surprise to find that breakfast was included, and it was absolutely delicious. The Sunday morning traditional koesister was a real highlight – such a special and classic touch that made us smile. The staff were the friendliest we have ever experienced, always warm, helpful and welcoming. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance, which made our stay even more convenient. It was truly a memorable experience, and we would happily stay there again.

Cons: It was not really an issue but when one gettin old, staircases is a challenge everwhere, but it doesn't take away anything of our experience

Perfect accommodation

Pros: Very friendly staff and accommodating to specific needs. The location is perfect, serine area and walking distance from the beach. Room was clean and spacious allowing for smoking on the balcony with a view!

Cons: Absolutely nothing!

Great Stay

Lovely stay

Pros: The location was great! Near to all amenities. A short stroll to the beach.

Cons: The stairs to the room but there is an option for a ground floor room but then you lose the view from the terrace.

Pros: Le Bay Lodge is centrally located in Gordon's Bay, with easy access to the scenic Clarence Drive Mountain Pass in the East, and Strand and Somerset West in the West. The lodge is very quiet, during the day and night. The rooms and baths are older, but make up for it with great mattresses and excellent showers. The premises have a restaurant and bar. There are braai (bbq) faciliites for guests to use as well. The staff are lovely and friendly, and very caring. We only stayed one night but would be happy to visit there again.

Pros: Oh the stuff was very nice even the Manager at the reception was so friendly. The rooms were hygienic👌. .

Cons: We booked for self catering but we couldn't get a proper kitchen to prepare our foods and sitting room to eat at. Network connection was a problem in room 202. Room 204 had broken floor tiles in the bathroom. We didn't enjoy our stay due to lack of self entertainment (music).

Pros: Absolutely loved the tranquility of sea and mountain views

*CLEANLINESS* Our rooms were very clean, always when we come back we find them good. Bigup cleaners

Pros: Hospitality was great, staff also had a wonderful treatment to us. They don't have funny things, always wear a smile.

Cons: Breakfast is so little, we only got water the day we arrived, the other days we didn't get it.

Pros: They opened the cafe early so we could still have our breakfast, and did so happily. Location was walking distancr to Gordon Bay.

Cons: Do not exprct luxury. The staff and location more than made up for it.
