Pros: We stayed in the garden suites and the check-in process was swift and simple. The room was exceptionally clean and nicely fragranced, with complimentary wine and water, which was a lovely touch. The air conditioning and TV were both working well. The location is great and within easy walking distance to wine tasting spots and restaurants. Overall, a great stay. A nice touch to get a freee coffee and did I mention the best MTB trails start right outside your room - bliss

Cons: This is a minimal, non-catering room, so it’s worth knowing in advance that there is only a fridge and a small coffee machine with limited milk. Everything else needs to be brought along, even if you plan to eat out. There isn’t really a view of the wine estate, as the room is surrounded by trees and close to the entrance. On Saturdays it can be a bit busier in the morning because a park run takes place on the property.

I will recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Serenity of the surroundings and the spacious room and bathroom. The cleanliness. The quality of the bedding. The complimentary bottle of wine was of great quality. Proximity to decent restaurants. When arriving, we were a bit late for check-in, but a gentleman was there to receive us, and he was kind, helpful and professional.

Cons: When giving back my key on the last morning (checking out), the reception lady did not even ask me how our stay was. She was busy with something behind the desk; it looked like she was maybe/ probably on her phone. I thought it was a bit unprofessional.

Pros: The location is superb. The on-site restauarants are fanatstic and the wine farm setting picturesque.

Cons: No staff members were available at check-in to receive us.

Great boutique hotel on an old wine farm

Pros: Great boutique hotel on a wine farm founded in 1702. Nice restaurants and wine tasting on site.

Cons: There was a light outside the room, shining through the bathroom window. We were unable to block this light with the curtains.

Lovely getaway in the wine lands outside Durbanville

Pros: Lovely room, very spacious and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable, aircon worked well, nice bathroom too. Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were helpful and friendly as well.
