City Lodge Hotel Pinelands

Very pleased with this place and will definitely use it as my base next time. Definitely my first choice.

Pros: Everything is what it says on the tin!! Great staff, clean, good room service, ample parking, great security….. and the rest ! It would be my first choice. I traveled around a lot and stayed all over. City Lodge was the overall best.

Cons: I can’t think of anything I didn’t like. Everything was up scratch!

Loved it, central, clean and lovely staff, just needs some more accessible options.

Pros: The rooms are very clean and pretty spacious, the staff were lovely and it is located pretty central to the places I needed to visit.

Cons: I think the rooms could be fitted with a microwave, cutlery and crockery. Additionally, thankfully I only had a carry on bag because there were only stairs up to the room and it would be hard for someone with disabilities, the elderly or someone with heavy luggage.

I chose the right place to celebrate my honeymoon and I would not have exchanged it for anything.

Pros: I liked the friendly staff and their approach to the clients. I would like to see this attitude in other lodges in the mother-city. I would definitely be more than willing to go back their again. A free nights stay would be an honor.

Cons: There is not a thing that I would decline as that was on of the best stays I've had in a long time. Something I didn't like...not a thing excepting that I was only capable of staying two as it was my honeymoon!.

Value for money and ideal location.

Pros: Excellent location because it is close to the N2. Good service and friendly staff.

Pros: I loved the welcoming and helpful staff. The food is excellent! The bed and pillows are comfortable. It was very close to Red Cross Children's Hospital, which was the reason for our visit.

Pros: We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but it looked very good. The room was clean and comfortable. It was in a very central location for our needs. The view onto the golf course next door was great. The parking easily accessible and parking bays plentiful. The restaurant on site was wonderful - real South African steak house

Cons: No porter service was offered to us. No lift and we had to haul our bags up and down two floors via the stairs. Bar and drinks service in the evening was a little slow and disorganised. We had no other complaints.
