Lovely cozy home-like welcome

Pros: Lovely spacious place with antique funishings, very cozy bedrooms and little green patio with big table and brai, all is neat and clean, only to relax and enjoy the place and Hermanus! Nice hosts Erine and Fannie! It was a real pleasure to meet these people and chat with them. Only a pity - a too short stay.Would defintely return on next trip.Highly recommended!

Cons: Too short visit :))

Pros: We stayed for one night at Braeview Guest House and had a wonderful experience. The guest house is very well maintained, cozy, and located in a quiet area, making it perfect for a relaxing stay in Hermanus. What really stood out were the extremely kind and welcoming hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive, and you can truly feel that they care about their guests. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Everything was in great condition, and we slept very well. Overall, the atmosphere was warm and pleasant, and we felt at home right away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Braeview Guest House! 😊

Pros: Location was perfect. Short walk to cliff path and short drive to town. Cottage is private, well equipped, clean and offers everything a person might need. Hosts are friendly.

Really recommend staying here if you stop in Hermanus

Pros: The property is super beautiful!! We really liked the house and how it is decorated. The space outside is amazing for a chilling start of the day with a coffee. The host was so nice. Always giving us tips to our roadtrip, which was a great help

Pros: Loved the scenery 🥰 it feels like you are leaving inside a cottage.

Pros: the location is really convenient and close to the cliff path, nice view for walking. the holder is nice and kind.

Pros: the location is excellent for going to catching the early whale watching boat.

Spacious apartment with delightful hosts and garden

Pros: Our hosts were absolutely lovely people who really took time to chat and care about us. The garden was super for our mini schnauzers and baby daughter to play in with a small fence around it. It was a spacious apartment on the bottom floor. It had wifi and was close to the cliff path for walks and stunning views. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. There was an alarm and secure parking, which made us feel safe. It has 2 full bathrooms with baths, which was VERY helpful with a baby.

Cons: The rooms were cold even with the wall heaters on. But to be fair, it has been a bitterly cold winter thus far. The beds are spring based, and my husband likes to rugby tackle the bed when he turns over, so I was bouncing around rather a lot. There was rather a lot of activity during our stay, so we didn't really feel like there was that much privacy as the back garden was a shared space with people coming and going. There was also someone upstairs from us moving furniture around after midnight, which was a bit of an issue with waking up our baby. The water was switched off for the 2nd last day of our stay while they fixed a washer in one of the rooms, which was a bit inconvenient as we had wanted to shower during that time. You take a shower whenever you baby sleeps, as most parents will know. But it wasn't really a train smash.

Was a beautiful place and was exactly what we were looking for just to pass through Hermanus.

Pros: Beautiful, felt like a stepping into a time capsule.

Cons: There are a few appliances that need to be replaced. We saw some rust in the microwave and one of the kettles.
