Pros: Extremely kind host family. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed an incredibly delicious breakfast with many homemade items. The location is excellent, and everything can easily be reached on foot. We would gladly come back!

Wonderful stay

Pros: Fantastic property with wonderful hosts. Peaceful and relaxing with a lovely pool with the centre of Hermanus a pleasant, short walk away. Outstanding breakfast too!

Great hosts and nice location.

Pros: The location was excellent for us as we could walk into town. The reception had several suggestions and were very helpful. The breakfast was a real treat. We had a nice choice and it was all freshly made.

Cons: My wife and I are tall (1.80 plus) and the bed was short for us, I think shorter than we are used to. But it was comfortable.

Pros: We had a lovely stay at Penguino Guest House. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Great location and lovely breakfast. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Would love to return some time.

A brilliant few days at a comfortable, welcoming guesthouse

Pros: We were a party of 9 spanning 3 generations and it worked well for all of us. Nikki and Stephan were fantastic hosts: nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was outstanding every morning.

Amazing host and delicious breakfasts - lovely pool area too

Pros: Stefan was an excellent host - he gave us lots of information regarding the area and recommendations for places to eat and visit. The breakfasts were amazing - some amazing choices and all cooked to order. It was lovely to have the pool and courtyard area available to cool off in after a day exploring. There was lots of information provided in the guest lounge and it was a short scenic walk to the main area.

Cons: It was a little strange having a room directly off the dining room - but this was just a small thing considering everything else.
