Exceptional stay at a lovely Boutique hotel

Pros: A wonderful boutique hotel with the charm of past years, yet impeccably maintained. The hosts were exceptionally warm and helpful, kindly assisting us with planning our days and making restaurant reservations. There is a small pool and a beautiful garden that invite you to relax. The breakfast was outstanding. We felt very welcome & safe.

Cons: Nothing we didn‘t like.

Beautiful experience!

Pros: Beautiful and well-maintained property with even more charming staff. Our room was exclusive and larger than expected, with two units and a beautiful “glass” bathroom, making us feel like we were in Victorian times. The breakfast was delicious. And the sun and flowers everywhere—just beautiful. The area seemed safe, but we used the driving service offered by the property, which was a great experience in itself, and didn't do much walking. We also used the pool to cool off, and our little one loved it. Yves and Valèrie are great, charming, and warm hosts who made us feel like we were coming home every day and also helped us when we had health issues. Thank you for everything !

Pros: Everything was just perfect! Yves and Valerie are the best hosts and the guesthouse offers everything you could possibly ask for. They made us feel at home and made sure that we could make the most of our stay. We will be back for sure!

Familial, well centered & lovely rooms & breakfast

Pros: Yves & Valérie our real hosts with all sorts of inside information about places to go, living in Capetown and how to get everywhere. Their boutique hotel breaths the old settlers atmosphere and it’s an ideal place between Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch, downtown Cape Town & the airport

Pros: This is an unparalleled level of quality. It can't be compared to a five-star hotel or a boutique stay. A new category should be created for a place like this, where perfection, sophistication, genuine hospitality, and sincerity all come together. A home away from home

Pros: Beautiful old but well-maintained house converted into a boutique hotel. Tastefully decorated with comfortable rooms and lovely breakfast room. Great breakfast menu. Small and personable; our hosts Yves and Valerie made us feel right at home and met all our needs. Set in a quiet and safe neighbourhood just below university campus, it was a short drive to the city, airport, V&A Waterfront and Kirstenbosch botanical gardens; we found it very convenient.
