Pros: This was a perfect cottage for exploring the region. We loved the cute coffee shop and access to the nature reserve.

Cons: It would have been nice to have some amenities in the bathroom such as soap.

Great stay near national reserve

Pros: Very nicely located cottage, next to the natural reserve where you can hike or mountainbike.

Cons: Was unable to reach the owner prior to my checkin so also didn’t know what to do. When I arrived I asked around at the gate of the reserve and they knew the code of the locker. Also, there are A LOT of mosquitos so take some repellent.

Pros: Right at the entrance of the Jonkershoek reserve. 20 m walk to brilliant coffee shop.

Cons: Can get noisy, as directly next to parking area. ..but perfect base to start you walk, run or bike trip, without having to drive anywhere.

Perfect place at the doorstep to Jonkershoek Nature reserve

Pros: This place is a WOW - just on the doorstep to Jonkershoek nature reserve, so perfect for all nature lovers (like us!). From bed to trail in a minute, or 5 - since you’d better stop for a coffee at the just-next-door Balance Coffee Roastery. The cottage itself is super cute and everything was great during our stay.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Great location, close enough to town and the wine estates, peaceful. Bedding was clean, TV had netflix etc, and Kyle was super helpful when we had any issues. A superb coffee shop and walking trails on your doorstep.

Cons: Windows are a bit drafty, and so we unexpectedly had to layer up in the evenings. Hot water system needs to be reset every time there is load shedding which is slightly inconvenient because the reset button is located outside.

Very enjoyable and can recommend to anyone.

Pros: Location at end of road close to nature area. Though there were considerable movement of hikers and cyclists it was not disturbing. Fireplace was great.

Cons: There was a problem with the gas geyser and subsequently no hot water. After contacting Kyle he and his team sorted the problem out promptly. We were happy with this service.

Een parel midden in Jonkershoek natuurpark

Pros: Locatie. Machtig mooi direct aan de entree van Jonkershoek park. Coffee zaakje voor de deur met gezelligheid bedrijvigheid. De host reageerde heel erg snel als we een vraag hadden.

Cons: De bedden waren heel hard maar is dat is ook een persoonlijke voorkeur. Dit was een van de beste verblijven ooit!

Beautiful cottage in great location

Pros: Great location, it was so beautiful to sit out on the porch in the morning/evening I loved the cottage charm

Cons: Unfortunately, the kitchen was not very clean - lots of drawers with random items, cutlery and glasses were not clean Locking mechanism for both front windows does not work - given that I saw earlier comments on this, it should have been fixed as it is a safety issue
