Pros: We had a wonderful relaxing stay in a spacious appartment with a comfortable terrace and view to the Helderberg mountains. Several restaurants nearby. Short drive to beach or winelands.

Cons: The interior decoration doesn't have to be your taste.

A truly superior place to stay in the Helderberg district

Pros: What a great place to spend a week or so! The pictures really do not do it justice. The place is beautiful, quiet, spacious, and clean. The hosts have thought of everything that a traveler/guest might need. The neighborhood is lovely, and it is a short walk to all of the stores, cafes, and restaurants on the Somerset West Main Road. It's an easy drive to everything that the Helderberg has to offer. And speaking of the Helderberg: what an amazing view you get from the patio. (And in the bathroom and kitchen, you can see down to the Strand.) The hosts were out of town during our stay but were in easy contact via Booking/phone, and Mr. Bouwer met us, explained everything, and came by to pick up the keys when, sadly, it was time to go.

Nichts, was wir vermisst haben!

Pros: Was für eine wunderbare Unterkunft! Bodenständig und praktisch ohne viel Chichi! Wir haben es geliebt! Die Bilder auf der Webseite geben einen ehrlichen Eindruck, was einen erwartet! Alles ist ehrlich und von guter Qualität und alles ist da, was man für einen längeren Aufenthalt braucht. Wir waren insgesamt 5 Wochen da! Johan und Christine sind sehr liebenswert, geben einem die Privatsphäre, die man braucht und sind zugleich sofort zur Stelle, wenn man Hilfe braucht. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und eine wöchentliche Reinigung war inklusive. Die Terrasse mit dem Blick auf die Berge könnte kaum schöner sein. Die Lage ist sehr Zentral, aber in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße! Vieles wäre fußläufig zu erreichen! Auch haben wir uns in all der Zeit nie unsicher gefühlt. Wir waren so begeistert, dass wir unverzüglich die Unterkunft für unseren nächsten Aufenthalt buchten und freuen uns schön darauf.

Pros: Très bon accueil de l’hôte, le logement était très propre et bien fourni. L’hôte a pris soin de mettre à notre disposition quelques boissons et snack, super ☺️. J’y ai séjourné avec mon papa qui lui aussi a beaucoup aimé le logement 👍🏾

Peaceful place with big terrace - with wonderful views

Pros: Asunto oli rauhallinen ja tilava. Valtavan iso parveke: edessä tuuheita puita, oikealla taaenpana vuoria ja vasemmalla kaukana siinsi meri. Lähin ravintola, suosittu Bossa vain muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Noin 15 minuutin kävelymatka Spar´in ja apteekkiin. Woolword vähän kauempana.

Cons: Matkalla kauppaan risteys, joka valoineen paluumatkalla jalankulkijalle enemmän kuin vaarallinen, vastaan tulevat autot kääntyvät eteesi, eivätkä jonossa ajaen edes tiedä, että sinulle on kulkuoikeus - valohan vain pilkahtaa vihreää ja vilkkuu sen jälkeen. Paluumatkalla kävelin n. 100 m ylöspäin, sieltä oli turvallisempi ylittää katu. Kotimaani vihreitä valoja ja kohteliaita autoilijoita tuli tässä kohtaa ikävä...
