Ocean views and whale watching = food for the soul.

Pros: The location was wonderful with the cliff path access close by.

Cons: Plugs at the bed to charge phone, etc, difficult to access.

We had an unforgettable stay. This property is definitely worth visiting. We will definitely be back.

Pros: Location and view is excellent. Very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Host were attentive, helpful and friendly.

Cons: The cupboards in second bedroom weren’t accessible but we coped.

Cons: No shower in main entrance suite. Only a bath. Had to share family bathroom shower. Not ideal

Fantastic Family Stay with Amazing Views

Pros: Fantastic Apartment block, a short walk from the Town Centre and right on the ocean. The apartment itself is very spacious, fully equipped with all that you would need for a self-catering holiday. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Easy access and the most amazing views over Walker Bay.....almost right on the water.

Hermanus Sea View Happy Place

Pros: We arrived during a super cold day and were surprised to find a warm water bottle on our beds. Thank you for the consideration as we were contemplating buying it for ourselves since it was so cold. The view and the gardens are beautiful! We loved the decor. The communication from the hosts was great from the start. As a suggestion, maybe provide a map that indicates where the swimming pool and the walk way is situated as we could not find it. We only found it after going to town and walking back to the property via the walk way.

Cons: We noticed some dust in some of the cupboards as well as some unnecessary boxes stacked on kitchen cupboards. The fan in the main bedroom needs to be replaced. The kitchen had some coffee and tea etc, however no milk to go with it.

Exceptional - would definitely come back!

Pros: The view is exceptional, you cannot get a better one, could spend days on end just sitting watching the waves from the comfort of this lovely flat!

Ideally situated, safe and secure accommodation with the most spectacular views

Pros: The location was great, close to all amenities. The view was exceptional and just as the pictures showed. The main bedroom was absolutely beautiful with lovely views over the bay, lovely big bath, comfy bed and crisp white linen

Cons: The second bedroom, one single bed was in need of repair or replacement

Pros: The view from the windows in the master bedroom and main area is phenomenal. No need to go anywhere else to whale watch! Great provision of additional heating and backup energy supply if needed. Really well equipped kitchen area and eating facilities. Brilliantly located for walking the coast path in either direction and only a short drive into Hermanus itself.

Cons: The booking.com map location of this property is incorrect. Had to contact the agent to locate the property - guests should be advised to use the postal address provided and not the booking.com map link. Payment was complicated as not via Booking.com but via bank transfer and there was some confusion over how we needed to pay the remainder of our balance. There was some confusion over key collection with us expecting to meet a person but the key then being left in a secret location. On the last day we received a text telling us the agent would be at the property to carry out the check out at 9am. When we queried this was apparently a typo and 10am would be fine..... A leak in another part of the building caused extensive plumbing / drainage work to take place resulting in limited timed access to water which we were not informed of prior to arrival - a bottle of water had been provided on the side in the kitchen but we were not told we would need to use it or that there would be no water available until 5pm. There was also considerable building noise which started at 8am. The main bedroom has an 'ensuite' which consists of a sink and bath area within the bedroom and then a glass walled toilet area - unfortunately the toilet area is incredibly small - literally someone taller than 5 ft 10 / 1.9m would have to sit on the toilet with the door open. The shower in the family bathroom was lovely in terms of water pressure and temperature but didn't drain effectively.

Pros: Well-appointed, comfortable apartment with spectacular views. Perfect location with an easy walk to the heart of Hermanus. Excellent response, support and service from Ilanda, the agent in addressing unforeseen challenges in the building beyond her control. Thank you.

Cons: Noisy building work below the apartment. Pillows need updating.
