Nice stay in a comfortable cottage

We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Pros: It had a charm about it, a wonderful position with stunning views. The cottage had very good facilities while maintaining its history - lovely pictures, furniture etc.

Cons: To have use of a swimming pool would have made it perfect.

Fantastic highly highly higly recommended!!

Pros: Great location on a fruit farm near Franschhoek, yet quietly situated in a beautiful historic place. The cottages are exceptionally charming, spotlessly clean, and decorated with great attention to detail. Owner Francois stopped by and was incredibly relaxed and hospitable. The welcome package and the entire atmosphere exudes hospitality. We rarely give a 10, but this one is well-deserved!

Cons: If we had to name a negative point, it was the pillows, which in our opinion were too hard (but this is personal and and a detail not worth mentioning).

We will be back !

Pros: The property was everything and more that we had hoped for . The location was close to Franschoek but we had the mountains and farms and countryside sounds all around us. The accomodation has been extremely well thought out and is spacious ,very comfortable with all the facilities that we could wish for. The hosts are not only very friendly but also concerned to make sure that we had everything that we needed.

Cons: Nothing.

Idyllic tranquil cottage at the base of the mountains

Pros: Beautiful cottage in a tranquil setting yet still close enough to town. The quality of the finishings in the cottage and little extras (fruit and wine) were lovely touches. We will be back!

Gorgeous comfortable place to stay

Pros: Great location away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely to have drinks on the stoep. Very kind host. Comfy bed great shower, all in pristine condition

a Real hidden gem! I loved the cottage and surroundings.

Pros: We arrived a bit early, but they were able to accommodate us. So friendly and helpful.

Cons: Nothing, I would love to stay there again.

A perfect cottage to stay in while enjoying all that Franschhoek has to offer.

Pros: We loved everything: the location, views from the balcony, details like a capsule coffee machine, wine and water provided, new and modern kitchen equipment, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and bedding; large white bathroom towels too.

Cons: A little jaunt in that 1930 vintage Ford Model T!!! Also some information on the acres of plum trees and who owns the farm... but these are not criticisms
