Pros: The property exceeded all our expectations. Very clever design peace and quiet. Loved all the little extras. Eggs homemade butter, fresh milk and warm home baked bread delivered thru tiny hatch in the kitchen. We loved the pizza bases and made pizza for the first time what a great family experience. The Kol kol hot tub with spectacular views. Our host was amazing and we are already planning to return. Can’t rate this highly enough. Hands down the highlight of our trip to South Africa. So much to enjoy and explore…..ps Beaumont Wine is a must while in Botriver

Tranquil, yummy and food for the soul!

Pros: The fresh baked bread and fresh milk that is delivered each morning through the hatch door is a real treat. The pizza bases provided are divine and the experience of making your own pizza is such a great bonding activity. The place was spotless and spacious. It was secluded even though it wasn't far from the next unit and the view was soothing for the soul. The service from the staff was impeccable.

Cons: The two chairs on the balcony weren't as comfortable when sitting for long periods. This should be replaced with two loungers because you want to lay outside and read book or nap. I think a mosquito film in the bedroom sliding window would allow you to sleep with the window open because it is that safe.

Very Chilled and very private, a truly wonderful week-end.

Pros: A fantastic cottage with plenty of room and privacy. The hot tub was great fun and the view from the tub were wonderful. We will definitely be staying here again.

A great getaway set in tranquil and peaceful surroundings filled with bird song

Pros: A beautiful setting with lovely view, peaceful tranquil surroundings filled with birdsong. Well equipped and comfortable chalet; especially enjoyable is the hot tub! Delivery of tasty homemade bread and fresh creamy milk each day is a treat.

Great stay on the Van Der Stel Pass

Pros: Great location. Comfortable beds and great seating etc both inside and on the stoep. Pizza oven supply of bases excellent. Good fun making them. Kol Kol and all fireplace is facilities were great. Great stay and good fun.

Cons: Lack of anywhere to unpack clothing for multiple night stays. Only an open hanger stand in main room. No shelves. Minimal crockery glassware. Need soap holder and a shelf or at least a clothes at the outside shower..

Peaceful and revitalizing in lovely surroundings.

Pros: Everything, the fresh milk and bread every morning is xtra special! And the wood was more than enough to keep the fires going!

Cons: I missed a hook or 2 behind the bathroom or bedroom door, but even that is a small matter.
