Pros: The chalet was overall comfortable and neat with wi-fi, information with take-aways, coffee & tea and a private area to relax outside. The host was friendly and waited for us, as we checked in after 22:00.

Cons: Poor TV reception & no DSTV or Netflix channels.

Pros: Aan de weg was just a good, comfortable, peaceful location for us. We didn't have a single issue .

Cons: The checkout time which is applicable to all the accommodation. I wish it can be around 12:00.

It was a memorable experience.

Pros: Very nice, quiet and safe location. The care and the privacy the host provided were unparalleled. She was understanding and willing to help where she could. I loved it. Thank you mama Esther for everything.

Cons: Can be a bit cold when the weather is not warm, there is an air-conditioner to address this, but it does not work at night as it is solar powered. But the place is very ideal and cool on hot days.

A really great stay

Pros: The host was really friendly and helpful. We have two cars and we could park it in the property. Very private and comfortable. The area is lovely. Load shedding was also not a problem. Overall a lovely stay and would have stayed longer if it was available.

Cons: Not too serious, but a smart TV would have been great.

Pros: The hosts were excellent. The chalet was clean. The bedding was clean, and of good quality. The chalet was well equipped and had everything needed. I must congratulate the owners what they did with the available space. The location was perfect with easy access to the N1.

A home away from home!

Pros: Everything. The place, very lovely and furnished with everything we needed for our stay. The environment, the area, but most of all, Esther. She is so welcoming. She has a heart of gold. She welcomed us with a smile and we could feel the warmth of her heart. She checked on us frequently and even gave us tips on which places to visit. Aan de Weg was our home away from home. The family gave us privacy, but also treated us like family. We felt safe and welcome. My girls enjoyed the place and said they missed it as sòon as we got home. Esther offered to do our laundry whenever she did hers. On the day of our departure, she prapared us some snacks for the road. Our stay was outstanding, and we know where to go whenever we visit Cape Town, to our home-Aan de Weg! ❤️

Pros: Both Esther & Jan were exceptional hosts, always checking in if we were happy and comfortable with our stay. The cottage provided us with all the basic amenities we needed for our nostalgia break.
