A character property in the heart of beautiful Franschoek.

Pros: We loved our stay in this beautiful home. The location was perfect for the wine tram, town and all the lovely shops and restaurants. It had everything we needed for a very joyful and comfortable stay. Ria was always available to answer questions.

We did have a good time

Pros: It is a beautiful old cottage which has been very tastefully decorated. Many interesting pieces of art . Lovely little garden with a plunge pool. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could want to make the whole family comfortable.

Cons: We were a bit unlucky with the weather as it poured with rain on 2 of the days of our stay which unfortunately highlighted the houses’ weakness; it leaks and one of the bedrooms was affected. Wet duvet and carpet and water on the stairs

Pros: Excellent location, close to the heart of Franschhoek village, historic house with generous spaces and well equipped. We had a lovely family weekend.

Wonderful hideaway for a stay in Franschhoek, particularly if planning on doing the wine tram

Pros: Lovely thatched-roof cottage with ample space for 6 guests (our group size) and a pleasant garden for braais or just relaxing outside. Perfectly located to do the wine tram tour, as it sits within walking distance of the tour starting point (no worries about drinking and driving). Also about a 5-7min walk to get down to the start of the main stretch for restaurants, pubs, cafes etc. (where Hussar Grill and the Franschhoek Station Pub sit)
