Luxurious stay above Franschhoek

Pros: Lovely private space with luxurious feel about it. The breakfasts were plentiful and healthy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was refreshing. You need a car.

Couldn’t be better

Pros: This is an amazing property nested in the middle of vineyards, facing the sunset behind the Franschhoek mountains. The cottage is very well furnished and the people working on the property (Arend and Princess in particular) are so kind and attentive. Thanks for the amazing stay.

Pros: Hard to imagine that it can get better than this. Superb and very luxurious cottage with a full equipped kitchen/living room space, a separate bedroom, a bathroom with floor heating and a garden area with a small pool plus an amazing view of the mountains. We had an amazing breakfast served in the cottage. It's 3min by car to the main street and wine tram, or 20min by foot. There are also a few good vineyards worth visiting that are right next it (our favourite being Black Elephant Vintner), and the best restaurant of our whole trip was also next to it (Arkeste).

Beautiful, tranquil and a very memorable way to spend our anniversary

Pros: Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and served to us in our room. We felt very spoilt! The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a lovely addition when the weather turned colder.

Fabulous location in Franschhoek hills

Pros: Such a lovely peaceful place to stay. Fabulous views. Good little pool. Amazingly well kept gardens. The cottage is right next to the big house but we felt totally private. Because of the elevation of the property there was a gentle breeze cooling the 30+ degrees feel comfortable. Charming interior… photos don’t do it justice. Manager was very helpful.
