Great hotel, great location, but some issues with noise

Pros: The hotel is lovely, really spacious and comfy room and great staff. Perfect location in too, in the middle of Stellenbosch.

Cons: The walls between our room and the room next door were so thin, we could hear them having sex. Which was a little awkward. At least we were able to put the volume on the TV up! Despite this, we had a great stay and the staff in particular were excellent.

A great hotel to stay in due to the very friendly, helpful staff and the location was excellent.

Pros: Location and parking were excellent as were the bathroom and shower. We enjoyed that the hotel had a history that we could read about and relate to having visited the Village Musuem. I really enjoyed a little 'retail therapy' in Stellenbosch as the shops were so close by and it was the end of our holiday and did not have to worry about carrying the new purchases all around South Africa, Botswana and Namibia!

Cons: The room was cramped and had little space to put our suitcases. The layout was confusing to begin with but it was alright after a few hours. Access to the car park was not well marked but...we found our way down there managed to get out alright!
