Convenient, comfortable and pleasant stay!

Pros: The rooms were a lovely size with a bath and separate shower. Stellenbosch restaurants were all in walking distance as well as museums etc

Cons: A really small thing! Please buy decaf coffee!

Beautiful stay!

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at the Batavia Boutique Hotel. The hotel has a lovely, relaxed vibe that immediately makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The room was amazing, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic, highly recommend the eggs Benedict! We would definitely come back and can warmly recommend this hotel.

A little guest house with big warmth & kindness

Pros: Tucked away down a leafy street right in the heart of Stellenbosch. Batavia is a family operated establishment and is a very special place. My 80 year old father stayed here and was welcomed with smiles, opened arms and warm, kind hospitality. Like many guests he will return! His room was large with a separate kitchen and full bathroom (free standing bath) and close to both of Batavias pools. This little gem of a guest house is a minute’s walk from Dorp street where you’ll find many excellent shops, bars and restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets. Also, museums, churches & gardens which Dad enjoyed walking to and exploring on his own. Till next time! X
