Pros: Absolutely loved my stay here. The hostel is in a perfect location, just a 2-minute walk from the beach, which made everything super easy and relaxed. The facilities are great — clean kitchens, well-maintained common areas, and everything is spotless. You can really tell they care about keeping the place in top shape. There’s also surf equipment available to rent, which is a huge plus if you want to get in the water without hassle. The owners, Chris and Geenie, are an incredibly friendly and welcoming couple. They create such a warm, safe, and social atmosphere — you immediately feel at home. There’s always a cold beer available, a nice pool to chill by, and the overall vibe is just perfect. They offer both dorms and private rooms, all very clean and comfortable. I felt safe the entire time, which is something I really value when traveling. Highly recommend this place — great people, great location, great energy. I’d stay here again without thinking twice.

Pros: Located near the beachfront, with amazing views of Table Mountain. Great place for surfers and windsurfers. Easy walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and food stores. The property was very comfortable and well maintained. Communal areas were well thought out and very pleasant. Other guests were friendly and considerate. Guest access to the property was easy and efficient.

Pros: Das Ambiente war ausgesprochen angenehm, erfrischend und locker, und wir wurden äußerst herzlich und freundschaftlich begrüßt. Chris war jederzeit erreichbar, sehr empathisch und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer hatte die perfekte Größe und war bestens ausgestattet, und das gesamte Umfeld wirkte entspannt und ungezwungen. Man kommt leicht mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch, kann aber genauso gut ganz für sich bleiben – eine gelungene Mischung aus Hostel und Aparthotel. Vielen Dank an Chris für die große Mühe und die besondere Aufmerksamkeit!

Cons: Alles hat perfekt gepasst – einzig ein Eiswürfelbereiter fürs Eisfach hätte noch gefehlt, aber das ist wirklich nur eine Kleinigkeit, die eigentlich nicht erwähnenswert ist.

Great chill staff and location

Pros: great staff, good location, easy in/out security gate w/ code. They even let me store my kiteboard bag for a month, while traveling around Africa to come back and pick it up on my way out of capetown. A lifesaver, not dragging a kitebag around

Tolle Hostel-Lodge, für Menschen, die etwas mehr Ruhe und Comfort, aber trotzdem Hostelatmosphäre wollen.

Pros: Super netter Hostelbesitzer, wunderschönes Haus, bequeme Betten, sauberer Pool, tolle entspannte Atmosphäre (haben gemeinsam mit allen Gästen gegrillt und generell ne gute Zeit gehabt!) Lage ist mega, super nah zum Strand, gute Cafés und Restaurants in der Nähe, sehr sicher.

Cons: Zimmer hätte etwas liebevoller gestaltet sein können, war sehr minimalistisch und schlicht. Das ist aber auch sicher Geschmackssache. Ich hätte ein bisschen Deko/Bilder schön gefunden.
