Character house

Pros: Loved the view over the dam with the ducks. Loved the wooden floors with the old house charm. Loved the space, the stoep area, the location, the peacefulness. Loved the fact that it had everything you would have in your own home. Coffee, tea, sugar, just name it!! Everything was on its place and there were more than enough of everything. I can highly recommend this place, but beware - this is a place that you'll leave kicking and screaming.

Cons: There was literally nothing I didn't like - maybe just the fact that we knew we will have to go home, and you really don't

Pros: We liked everything about the place. Great location, close to Hermanus but away from the town buzz. The host welcomed us at the property. We got to check out a little later the Sunday, which was amazing. Perfect name, Tranquility (a home away from home)

Beautiful and peaceful. Great for a weekend getaway.

Pros: The host were phenomenal, very accommodating and great communication throughout our stay. The scenery was beautiful with ocean path way close to the house where you would walk. One thing to consider is there are only two bathrooms so if you are 12 people like us, take that into considerations. With that being said never had cold water, big bathrooms and great outdoor sitting area. The view is exactly what the name says tranquil and peaceful. Would recommend again. The house has everything you need especially in context of preparing dinner, desserts, and even game boards.

Cons: The the fact that there were only two bathrooms, we knew about this but the value is just such a win.

Tranquility at its best

Pros: The view: Mountains, lake, ducks peaceful and quiet. Outside Porch

Cons: The lights in the kitchen are too dull. Maybe separate the toilets from the bathroom/shower.

Lives up to it's name

Pros: Wonderful home in the perfect spot next to the Saltpan. Ample, comfortable space with a fireplace and ambience.

Tranquil, breathtaking and so comfortable!

Pros: We had the best time as a family, it truly lives up to the name…Tranquility!!! It was comfortable, breathtaking views and had all the amenities you needed. Very family friendly and the host was very accommodating for me and my family.

Pros: Extremely cozy, fantastic winter house, they have added showers in both bathrooms and outside hot shower. Kitchen is so well kitted. Beautiful lived in home.

Cons: Would be nice to have a small Webber to braai on the stoep, but that so minor we had lovely braai inside.

Pros: We absolutely loved the homey and relaxing feel at Tranquility. We didn’t want to leave. It was a great touch that there were board games we could use. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you can think of and there is a lovely layout downstairs that doesn’t make the place feel crowded even with 10 people. The view is stunning and the space is so comfy and relaxing. I would highly recommend this place.
