Windsong Cottage

Pros: The cottage is very well equipped and had everything you would require even down to egg cups! It has a Central location close to all of the shops and restaurants. There is a nice yard area which has a BBQ and outside seating. The large double bed was very comfortable.

Cons: There was a lot of noise some days from Checkers supermarket unloading bays just across the road. There was no face to face check in which would have been nice as we are an older couple and less 'techie'.

Wonderful accommodation at a great location.

Pros: The place is huge and has everything you need, including a very nice braai area!

Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like.

Pros: Very lovely cottage and welcoming garden. Nice attention to detail. Very pleasant that there were heaters working on arrival to give us a cosy atmosphere. No contact with the owners until 18.40 in the evening after arriving at 16.00? Very central. The noise others complain about from the Checkers shopping center is as far as we are concerned minimal and doesn't take away from the location and being so central. Just remember that Hermanus does not wake up before 9am - 10am :-)

Cons: Minimal, but coffee cups are sooooooo small that I needed 3 coffees to wake up :-( We took our own Nespresso machine and capsules.

A great place

Pros: The Windsong cottage is a beaultiful place. Very comfortable and ideally located nearby town center. The facilities ar great and the host very kind. I would happily stay there again.

Cons: It's a small thing but we missed a shampoo in the room.

We enjoyed our stay, until the power went. The hosts were very attentive to every detail.

Pros: There was no breakfast provided. Not surprising, since that was the deal!

Cons: If the property had solar backup we would not have spent our last night freezing and in the dark. There was a power outage in the greater area.
