Pros: Excellent location and facilities were very good and comfortable. Close to the nature reserve and the beach. Received excellent assistance and communication from Penny and Robyn before and during our stay.

Lovely long weekend for four single friends, each with their own room

Pros: It's really nice that every room had its own en-suite toilet and shower, especially if you are 4 single adults or 4 couples. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need (except scissors). The little oven fireplace worked like magic for a cold winter's day! The penguin colony and On The Edge restaurant is walking distance from the house. The main reason we booked this place was because they are pet friendly. There is an inner and outer fence, so super secure for the dogs.

Pros: Loved the fire place and close to the beach. Great value. Host let us check out late due to the bad weather the day before.

It was a great family festive breakaway in a safe, welcoming and warm environment.

Pros: Cleanliness of the property. The availability of Greta if you needed to ask anything. A fireplace inside the house provided warmth when it was cold outside.

Cons: We were very exposed to high-speed winds on the large balcony. Just suggesting for some shelter from wind so that the balcony can be fully enjoyed just like the small balcony. It did not affect our stay at all, and we had an amazing relaxing time.

Pros: There is a lot of space. Spectacular views of the mountains and the ocean. Situated close to the beach. There are a lot of things to do in the area. You have cover from the wind to spend time outside even if it blows out of the northwest our southeast.

Pros: It has a lot of seating spaces, the pool is small but perfect for me(because i can’t swim anyway,so it made me feel like a boss swimmer😜). Beds are comfortable. Everything that you’ll need for the weekend is catered for. It’s a walking distance to go see penguins at the kogelberg nature reserve. To top it off, the host Greta is a sweetie. Would definitely do this place again 😎.

Cons: Tv was a struggle to operate- on the 1st night we struggled and gave up but eventually got it right the next morning. Maybe having a detailed guide on how to operate will do, not just the connection part. That doesn’t take away anything from the place though.

Pros: Greta was an amazing host. She was so friendly and made us feel right at home. The property was amazing. Everything was clean, neat, and tidy. Will definitely go back.

Pros: I loved our stay with Greta. She was a consumate host and after getting trapped in the area because of flooding on the roads, she allowed us to stay on for free while we waited for a road to open up. I've recommended this place to other people and would travel there again in an instant. The plunge pool and braai facilities made for an excellent stay.
