Zeven Eike Homestead

Everything was incredible!

Pros: Zeven Eike is amazing!! Me & my partner had such a lovely relaxing stay. The views are incredible, the room we stayed in was so spacious and had the most amazing interior design. Pieter (owner) and Lloyd (manager) were both excellent hosts, they were so helpful throughout our stay and made us feel at home. Thank you both for making it a memorable experience.

Cons: The only downside was that we didn’t book for longer. We will definitely be coming back!!

Pros: The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was both stunning and convenient. The room had a luxurious feel and had all the amenities you could wish for. Breakfast was brilliant.

A small gem in the Cape Winelands, fantastic location, comfortable and tasteful accommodation .

Pros: The location is superb with wonderful mountain views from the breakfast Terrace and plunge pool. Our room was called Chardonnay which I would recommend booking as it has a nice outdoor terrace with views of the mountains. The manager Lloyd is a real asset to this establishment. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. He cooked delicious breakfasts for us every day. We can’t praise him enough. The attention to detail throughout the guest house was outstanding.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like. We were a little disappointed that the pool was only a plunge pool, but that did not detract from our five days stay. stay.

Would 10/10 recommend staying at this property to anyone looking for this type of stay.

Pros: What a wonderful place to stay. We were warmly welcomed and our room was very luxurious and super clean. Breakfast was freshly prepared and really delicious! Pieter was a super host. I must also mention how awesome Lloyd was!!!

Stunning views, beautiful interiors, comfy beds and wonderful hosts

Pros: The host and team what incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful beyond our expectations. They booked us into restaurants and hailed taxis for us. Wow! The location is stunning. The views of the mountains from the room we stayed in are incredible. It's also a very peaceful place - you hear the birds singing. The interiors of the whole place are done with such good taste. We'll definitely be back, when we return to Stellenbosch. Perfect couple get away!

Pros: Stunning views and gorgeous room. We stayed in chardonnay room. That has a nice patio with a view of the mountain range and a spectacular bathroom with a view of the:) Lloyd made us feel very welcomed and cooked us yummy diverse breakfast. Location is also perfect as you are close to both Stellenbosch and Franschoek vineyards. Additional bonus was Nandi- the cutest German shepherd that gave us puppy cuddles and a boost of endorphins

Cons: If you are in Chrdonnay room. Somewhere above or behind the room the was a boiler/pump that was working all night. Due to higher ceilings the noise echoed pretty badly. We mentioned it in the morning and it was sorted for the next night. We were also offered a change of room as an option. So no major complain

Pros: Everything was just incredible , The location , The hosts , the service staff , A beautifully curated homestead with each room tastefully decorated and having its own individual charm , The entire property feels so warm and inviting . We had a absolutely fantastic experience.

Pros: Lodge was recently opened, all new, fresh and lovely design. Great views, very friendly staff and owners.

Cons: The rooms are above the garage next to the house on the photo. Breakfast is at the neighbouring Zeven hotel/lodge.
