A perfectly relaxing, warm and friendly two days!

Pros: The location was perfect, the garden with Springbok and peacocks were a joy to watch, the decor in the house was stunning, there breakfast was very delicious with a great variety of foods to choose from, as well as fresh eggs, the staff were all friendly, efficient and very helpful , the bed extremely comfortable and the shower was powerful! All in all wonderful !

A great spot for a quick local getaway

Pros: So peaceful and beautifully presented. The animals are an amazing addition and the pool and honesty bar are fantastic.

Wonderful

Pros: The decor in the property is exceptionally stylish. The grounds are remarkable with the Peacocks, springbok and an abundance of birds. The location is great as it is a short drive to the centre of Stellenbosch or 30 mins to Somerset West and the coast. The staff could not do enough and breakfast was a delight. We met both of the owners who were very welcoming and friendly. Nynke (one of the owners) recommended a restaurant De Vleispaleis Steakhouse that was so good we had dinner there twice. If you choose to stay there you will not be disappointed. Also Justin at breakfast was the perfect host.

Cons: There was nothing not to like.

Pros: What couldn’t you like! This place was simply beautiful, peaceful with a lovely energy. The owners and staff were super lovely and accommodating. I can’t wait to go back and stay for longer!

We enjoyed the experience as soon as we entered through the gates - expansive, super welcoming & luxurious and close
