Loved it - really lovely atmosphere & very comfy

Pros: We checked in for one night when we couldn’t stay in franschoek because of the fires! We had the poirot room and we loved it! Overlooking the pool and so comfy tried to stay longer but they were fully booked. Would definitely go back

Cons: Don’t be put off by the look of the outside at the front as it’s dark grey and looks austere but is lovely!

Super Stellenbosch stay that also allowed for healing.

Pros: Mariette and all of her team were wonderful - welcoming, kind and supportive, especially when my husband was ill. The guest house is immaculate, beautifully furnished, has lots of attention to detail and is in a lovely neighbourhood. The garden and pool area are very peaceful and nicely set out.

Great hospitality and comfortable stay.

Pros: We made a last-minute booking and were pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything was handled. Even with a late check-in, the staff was present to welcome us, which made a big difference. The host personally greeted us the next morning at breakfast. The breakfast was excellent, with croissants, fruits, pancakes, cereals, and a good variety of juices. The suite was unique and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day. I would highly recommend Baruch Guesthouse on Lovell to anyone visiting Stellenbosch.
