Very nice boutique hotel with friendly and helpful stff - would return

Pros: Great served breakfast.. Very helpful and friendly staff. Bright upstairs room with balcony.

Cons: The door to our room was poorly soundproofed and we could hear people talking downstairs. Had to drive everywhere Parking inside the property was often full so we had to park on the street

A great base for a few days in Stellenbosch

Pros: Beautiful period property. Comfortable room. Spotlessly clean. Lovely pool & outside space with manicured gardens. Secure on-site parking. Good breakfast. Friendly, helpful host. Tip would be to get a room overlooking the pool.

Cons: A little further from Stellenbosch centre than we thought but that’s our issue - we should have researched more. Spin side is that it’s lovely and quiet and you can walk to the Lanzerac wine estate in 15 minutes if you wish to do so. It’s really cheap and easy to get around with uber anyway.

Comfortable and convenient for our short stay

Pros: Breakfast was great. Hostess was very friendly and hospitable.

Cons: Very limited supply of bottled water for the room, no turn down service. Lack of off-street parking.

Enjoyable week in a lovely area.

Pros: Characterful old building in a beautiful and peaceful area of Stellenbosch.

Cons: We liked everything. One tiny nit pick would be that our bathroom was pretty tired. But it didn’t really affect our enjoyment of the week we spent there.

We had an amazing stay!

Pros: The accommodation is at a really nice and quiet, yet central location (close to the city center). The garden is beautiful and it is really nice relaxing at the pool. The breakfast was also really great.
