GREAT STAFF & GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY!

Pros: Our flight from Doha was delayed. Consequently, we arrived much later at the Guest House. James was waiting for us and made us feel so welcome, and we immediately felt at home. Our bed was wonderful and after traveling for 27 hours we slept like babies. Also, the breakfast we enjoyed the next morning was tasty and very good. Michael is a very good chef. A huge thank you to Quellin who was always prepared to help us during our stay at The Boord. The staff at this establishment is outstanding!

Cons: We were happy with everything.

Friendly staff and good position

Pros: The staff at guest house is very friendly. Our room, Fynboos, was really nice and spacious. We enjoyed our breakfast too. The guest house is close to town centre/university.

Cons: Our room was closed to the road, so there was a bit of traffic noise in the morning, but it wasn’t that annoying.

Relaxed & Laid back in Stellenbosch

Pros: Quiet area of Stellenbosch, yet close to all you wish to visit. Super friendly & helpful staff were there to assist at every turn - so well done. Room was large & opened out to a small garden which was a treat. The breakfast I had was yummy & to be recommended.

Cons: Desk in the room. Even tho it wasn't a work trip, it's always great to have a desk. Access is via bunch of different keys which can be complicated, especially in the dark - not a gripe, just an observation
