La Fontaine Guest House Hermanus

We would definitely return in the future with iut hesitation ( though not to the family suite)

Pros: The staff makes this place an absolute gem. So welcoming and helpful, they really give the guest house a homely feeling. Fantastic location, delicious breakfast.

Cons: We were in the family suite ( it was the only room left )so our room was quite cramped and dark with nowhere to sit and relax. Would have been fine if we were travelling with children but as we only used the one bedroom, I suspect all other rooms would have been better suited to our needs. We were aware when we booked though so not a problem

Pros: Beautiful property, lovely room, breakfast was amazing, staff were exceptional. Natasha and Clarissa were amazing and did everything they could to make our stay perfect.

Cons: The walk back from the town center was a little long but definitely doable. It could do with a few more street lights along the route but obviously this is not within the control of the property.

Pros: Lovely traditional guesthouse with friendly personal service. Great location overlooking Bay and walking distance to shops and Old Harbour area. Comfortable and spacious rooms with good shower, TV and aircon. Delightful breakfast on terrace overlooking pool and Bay. Secure parking. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location and great hosts!

Pros: La Fontaine is a very nice property, Natasha and Clarise are very kind hosts. The location of the property is great — it's very close to both the ocean and the town centre. The breakfast was possibly the best on our trip (I loved the homemade granola)! :)

Cons: Our room (family room) does urgently need some renovation. The carpet is very used (seemed dirty) and also some of the paint does not look very appealing anymore.

Perfect place for a few nights in Hermanus. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again

Pros: Very welcoming and accommodating. Comfortable with delicious breakfasts. Beautiful views. Safe parking and short pretty walk into town. Great massage too.

Fabulous guesthouse in Hermanus

Pros: This is a fabulous place to stay if you are lucky to get a reservation! It is a beautifully decorated house with only a few rooms and each room is spectacularly decorated, very large and incredibly comfortable. The breakfasts are brilliant as well ( I can still smell the croissants). Remember to book early - rooms go fast !

Pros: Location brilliant 5 min walk to centre of town. Views excellent of the ocean. Secure onsite parking. Comfortable sun loungers. Really co,for table and cosy beds.

Cons: Room slightly too small.
