Pros: We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Peak Cottage. It was so clean and comfortable and up there with one of the best places we have booked. Everything was provided that you could need, including a dishwasher and washing machine and really well equipped kitchen. The rooms were comfy, with crisp and clean bedding and towels.

Perfect combination of being in nature but only 10 mins from town

Pros: Great house. Very calming and peaceful. Amazing view of the mountains. Great braai location. Fireflies in the fynbos were amazing to watch too.

Pros: Stunning cottage surrounded by nature. Everything you need to have a wonderful and restful time away. Super special place!! Will definitely be back.

A piece of heaven on earth

Pros: The view! Private, tranquil... the most beautiful spot to unwind and spend quality time with family. Comfortable beds, crisp linen, well-equipped. Special touches like coffee, rusks, honey from the farm and the provision of good wood for the fireplace and braai. Excellent, friendly communication with the owners and a visit from their gorgeous doggies.

Cons: Nothing! Wish we could have stayed for longer.

Otherworldly location. We didn't want to leave.

Pros: One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. Completely off the beaten track but a taxi away from town. Highly responsive host (even when we had a minor disaster). Wish we could have stayed longer.

Cons: Nothing. Internet didn't work at first but quickly sorted with a reboot. Buy your breakfast before you drive up the mountain.

We came here expecting to go to wine farms, but Peak cortage is so beautiful we just stayed there the whole time. Truly

Pros: It had everything we needed. Every amenity you need for a weekend away. The most beautiful Mountain View’s.

Perfektes kleines Haus in idyllischer Umgebung

Pros: Sehr komfortabel eingerichtet, viel Platz für die Familie und sehr ruhig oben am Berg gelegen.

Cons: Die Managerin (Hanelie) ist ziemlich fehl am Platz. Bei einem Problem mit dem Kaminofen gab es nur ein virtuelles Schulterzucken über WhatsApp. Die Eigentümer und die von ihnen dann binnen Minuten herbeigerufenen Nachbarn kümmerten sich perfekt. Gleiches beim checkout, als Hanelie bereits um 8:30 Uhr mit dem Reinigungspersonal vor der Tür stand und die Putzfrau auf der Terrasse parkte (bei eigentlichem Checkout um 10 Uhr und während wir noch beim Frühstück waren) - ich denke, Justin und Paula werden das recht schnell wieder ändern …

Heerlijk uit de drukte met fantastische views op de bergen, en toch dichtbij alle restaurants

Pros: De locatie is heerlijk. Fantastische views op de bergen. Heerlijk remote, uit de drukte van Franschhoek. Liezel, de host was absolutely amazing.

Cons: niets, zelfs na maanden geen loadshedding te hebben gehad was dit aangekondigd en Liezel kwam lampjes brengen voor in case.
