Little paradise in Franschhoek

Pros: Incredible place in a beautiful setting. The calm and quiet we experienced here is truly unique. The garden with the pool is super relaxing. Not to mention the amazing hospitality of Allan and Yvonne. Allan is a brilliant host, he is very attentive and knowledgeable, always ready to share recommendations. The breakfast was to die for. The attention to detail with which every meal and juice is prepared is remarkable. The room was very spacious and comfortable. They also offer amazing wines at a very reasonable price.

Cons: No negatives come to mind.

A beautiful place in fantastic surroundings close to the heart of Franschhoek

Pros: The hotel is set in a beautiful location a 10 minute walk from the town of Franschhoek. The views from the property are stunning and the gardens around the property are beautiful. The accommodation is great roomy and bed was very comfortable. Alan & Yvonne are great hosts with great knowledge of the area and the breakfast was tasty and well prepared.

Incredibly peaceful and relaxing stay, in a beautiful property. We couldn't recommend enough!

Pros: Stunning property and grounds, very peaceful and relaxing. The staff we very welcoming and attentive through out our trip. Delicious breakfast, and great recommendations for local things to do and see.

Cons: Nothing at all, we wish we could have stayed longer!

I can’t wait to come back again.

Pros: It’s such a beautiful place. I really felt like I had discovered a hidden gem in Franschhoek. Allan and Yvonne are such lovely people, their entire staff is brilliant, the breakfast is exceptional and I can’t wait to go back. One of the best places to stay at in Franschhoek.

Cons: It’s just a bit difficult to find as the location on Booking isn’t fully accurate - you have to keep driving up the road and then it’s on the left.

Would stay again!

Pros: Everything was perfect! It's a great place to stay in and relax, while it is close to the city (walking distance) and great restaurants and cafes. The property has great views. They also have their own wine production, and it was one of the best Malbec I ever had! I'm certainly looking forward to my next stay at L'Auberge Chanteclair.
