Pros: Property, peaceful and calming. Breakfast great. Loved the animals. Pool was clean, loved the swim. Beds and pillows great. The staff made us feel genuinely special from the moment we arrived — every single person was warm, joyful, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Their kindness wasn’t just good service; it felt heartfelt. A special thank you to Petrus, who is truly a rare soul. He went above and beyond in every interaction, and his care made such a difference to our experience. He came to save me on the N2 when I had 2 tyre bursts. And to the owner — your generosity and humanity left me speechless. When my tyre burst, you didn’t hesitate to step in and help. That kind of kindness is not something you forget. This is a place where people don’t just do their jobs — they uplift others. I’m deeply grateful for the way everyone treated us. Highly recommended.

Cons: The aircon was just a bit loud, but did the trick to keep us cool in hot Caledon.

Old world charm, our Lady Grace 🌸

Pros: Beautiful old elegance guesthouse, our Lady Grace. The stoep is beautiful 🌸the staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Cons: Be mindful that the stairs are steep. We stayed in Room 4, beautiful but extremely warm as it faces the garden. There was a portable aircon in the room, (advertised as Airconditioning) which was not sufficient for the Caledon summer heat (if I knew this beforehand, I would not have booked there).

Best location to discover the Overberg! Def coming back!

Pros: Loved the location and the beautiful spot. So central in the district with magnificent day trips to Hermanus, Greyton, franschoek, Stellenbosch and Bettys Bay. The house itself is a fantastic heritage piece, and the staff and food is 5 star!

We went for a quick two night break away and decided to stay for five.

Pros: We loved the setting surrounded by nature with a view of the mountain. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They do a great breakfast with an option for every taste. Our daughter loved the animals and the pool. They have great braai facilities.

Cons: The safes in the rooms are not bolted down so pretty pointless.

Ticked all my boxes and more. you get much more value then you pay for!

Best stay with best service- missing it already!

Pros: Small boutique guesthouse with amazing service. Nightmanager on site to assist with everything we needed. Loved to stay in this monumental building that had all modern comforts! Never had such fast Wifi anywhere and the pool, I still dream about it. Oh and food was also sublime, both breakfast and dinner. definitely coming back for longer stay.

Old world charm and friendly service

Pros: The house has wonderful character and the staff are fantastic. The pool was a great bonus.

Cons: The stairs are quite steep in the house, so useful to consider if you are physically impaired to book rooms on the grond level. That said the staff were very helpful with my mother.
