Vine Guesthouse

Fantastic place. Modern and very well fitted, ideal for wine estate on Bottelary and Stellenbosch

Pros: Fresh and modern, high standard of finish, accommodation and a nice big bed. Good breakfast. South African guest houses are the best in the world and this is one of them.

Cons: All was good.

Pros: The manager, Suzette, was so helpful, we had a couple of minor issues which she resolved.

Great stay, easy access to Stellenbosch, safe and secure and very pleasent.

Pros: Only there for 1 night so didnt use any of the facilities, but they looked fine. Other guests seemed to be happy... very child orientated, so maybe not for an older guest 'relaxed' visit, but very good.

Cons: Nothing, all good, but as is common with lots of hotels, why the thick duvet, its summer....

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff members were most friendly and helpful.

Pros: Well located yet quiet and peaceful, but transport necessary. Lovely clean pool area. Extremely good breakfast especially the eggs Benedict. Good, spacious parking, restaurant on site and wine estate next door. Resident domestic cats were very friendly and visited us regularly which we loved. Suzette was always on hand to help with everything. We hope to return.

Cons: White bath towels (no longer white!) should be replaced.

Couple + Dog

Pros: Guesthouse was great overall. Loved the pool and our dog loved the open spaces for walks and exploring. The putt putt, tennis court and having the Saddles Steak Ranch restaurant on the property is a nice touch. Super convenient and the food was great too.

A wonderful place to stay

Pros: The Vine is a lovely relaxed place to stay and not far from lovely restaurants

Cons: There was nothing to dislike

Nice stay but could be much better.

Pros: Lovely grounds and outside spaces. Reasonable restaurant on site. Breakfast was very good. Ample Car parking.

Cons: The pool was left with a cleaning hose working so we couldn't use it. The room was not up to the standard of the outside spaces and could certainly benefit from a refresh.

Pros: Fantastic place, the staff were so friendly, warm and inviting. Best breakfast in south africa, they set the bar to high for our 3 week trip around the garden route.

A lovely guest house, in a quiet area, lovely breakfast and friendly staff.

Pros: Nice and quiet area, nice restaurant on the property.

Cons: The mattress was a bit worn out, but the staff made sure they changed it, our second evening we had a great sleep.
