Avontuur Manor House and Wine Estate

Pros: Beautiful old Manor House located in a wine estate/stud farm We were made to feel very welcome and to treat the house like it was our home for a few days The pool and pool house were fabulous Amazing views from the house and the restaurant Food and wine at the restaurant were also superb

Perfect stay for a big group of friends or family. Wonderful hosts and plenty of spaces to enjoy.

Pros: Such a fantastic, beautiful, homely guest house to gather with friends. So enjoyed by all, with plenty of space to reflect, play and eat. Fantastic hosts. Highly recommended!

Pros: Amazing in every way - location , staff, accommodation, food and general knowledge of what's around!

Cons: Only issue was the hot tub was needing a clean. Which really seems a rubbish thing to say but everything else was at such a high standard!

Pros: Well located. A beautiful, well looked after house. Very clean and spacious. Conveniently next to Avontuur Restaurant for an excellent meal. Matthew and his team were friendly and welcoming and looked after us well.

Beautiful guest house with amazing staff.

Pros: The staff are amazing, there was a new guy (tall one) that just started I forgot his name but he was great and he remembered that my baby had oats the day before so he had it prepared already the following morning. There is another staff member that made the the best scrambled eggs. Overall very friendly and helpful staff. Love the atmosphere of the home.

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like.

Cons: Lune de miel shower drainage was poor.

Really enjoyed it.

Pros: Friendly and very helpful staff. Great location - nothing was too much trouble.

Cons: Although we had a lovely room - the Luna de Miel suite - which was very large and comfortable, the room could have done with a safety deposit box and a fridge to store cold drinks in the room rather than using the communal fridge / honesty bar in the downstairs kitchen. That should not be a distraction from the overall stay comments - just something to perhaps note for future reference.

What is not to love about staying on a working Vinyard!

Pros: Friendly staff and great location with lots of ambiance.

Cons: The restaurant for afternoon and evening meals did disappoint although breakfast was great.

Pros: Lovely stay here. The staff was amazing great communication great facilities
