Calm little stylish boutique hotel with fantastic hosts

Pros: A stylish, beautiful designed little hotel up on the hills of Sumerset West. Alex & Brian are hosts with heart and passion. Ask them for recommendations regarding restaurants, vine tours and hikes! Nice little garden pool for refreshment swim in the morning. Excellent breakfast and very friendly personell. Take a look on all the little details in the public area rooms. We will be back next year!

Absolutely wonderful

Pros: The hosts Alex and Brian are very personable and friendly, I loved the personal touch. The rooms are beautiful and modern and the pool is a welcome oasis where you can have your breakfast or chill on the loungers. Breakfast is healthy and fresh. Highly recommend this gem of a place!

Tranquility in a beautiful designed setting

Pros: Beautiful new small-scale boutique accommodation in close proximity to many of Cape Town’s and the wineland’s highlights. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully designed, with good airconditioning. We also enjoyed the outdoor seats in front of our room. Our highlight was the welcoming and energetic attitude from the owners who make a perfect coffee and breakfast each morning.

Perfect for unwinding!

Pros: We needed two rooms at very short notice for one night while getting ready for our son’s wedding, and Andrew at Kokon Boutique Guesthouse responded quickly and kindly to our request. He had two beautiful rooms ready for us in no time. The interior décor is elegant and calming, creating a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. There is also a beautiful garden and pool area, perfect for unwinding.

Cons: The only small negative, purely a matter of personal preference, is that I would have appreciated a door between the bedroom and bathroom and a shelf in the shower. Overall, a wonderful stay and excellent service.
