Loved every moment

Pros: Breakfast was delicious and the avocado on toast was excellent.

Cons: All was good - a few flies so more fly discouragers would be good.

A beautiful stay!

Pros: The breathtaking views and beautiful stay! The food was incredible, highly recommend the chicken pie. A big thank you to the staff for making this stay extra special.

Cons: Nothing to dislike, it felt like a home from home.

Stunning location, hospitality and overall experience

Pros: Beautiful views in a secluded setting but close enough to all major sights in Franschoek. Charming staff and owners. Simple and delicious evening meals and breakfasts by the pool. If you value a calm, non-mass experience, close to nature, this is for you.

Cons: Nothing. We hope to visit again.

Unique vibes!

Pros: Really familiar. Really nice. The staff does an amazing job and all guests feel treated like family members.

Cons: The interior design is perfect and give a very unique atmosphere to the whole housing.

Pros: Stunning property in an incredible location - every detail is perfect from the lovely bath products to the homey feel throughout - loved looking at James’ interesting books and hanging out with Richard the cat!

Cons: That we had to leave for the UK!

Another absolute hit - beats any corporate hotel hands down.

Pros: A great boutique hotel with some of the most amazing views we encountered in South Africa. Our really large room was beautifully finished with fantastic attention to detail , the bed was amazingly comfortable and we had a huge well appointed bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were served on our private deck which also have access to the infinity pool. Quality of the food was excellent, particularly the breakfasts. The small team were incredibly attentive and personable. As stated the views were to die for, both sunrise and sunset! Highly recommend this for an opportunity to destress and take in the surrounding nature!

Cons: Nothing at all. The only issue that people need to be aware of is location. We loved the location but somewhat isolated so might not work for everyone as well outside the town of Franschhoek requiring a cab or car journey of some 15 minutes.

Pros: I can not recommend this wonderful hillside hideaway enough - it is quite simply magical and perfect. The windy off the beaten track road makes you feel like youve found a secret stay as you arrive The views from the gorgeous pool are not just what makes this place so wonderful - its the attention to detail and quality that has gone into the design and interiors; a balance of boutique hotel and staying at a friend's house that you envy! And the service is just that like staying at a friend's house, but a good friend so it doesn't matter if you sit in silence! I loved the warmth and hub of the kitchen which is the heart of Koppies and the amazing team feel like its a family kitchen where you hangout or pass through as needed. The food is homecooked and is delicious and wholesome. Combine all this with spectacular views and sunsets and you will not want to leave. I did not want to leave and wil definitely come back I just loved it!

Perfect Stay!

Pros: I had nothing but a perfect stay at 7 Koppies. The property is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed—so much so that you won’t want to leave the premises! My room was super comfortable, and the gardens and surrounding farm are simply stunning. The pool and sauna were wonderful additions as well. It’s only a short 15-minute drive to the city, making the location convenient yet peaceful. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming throughout our visit. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Nadine, the night manager, and her dog Mayhem, who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and safe during our stay. Also Richard the hotels cat cannot be more friendly and cute!
