Bosjes - Herehuis

Would recommend in a heartbeat, the staff were exceptional, and the grounds were breathtaking.

Pros: It was full of hidden gems! We thought it was amazing and then we did the game drive and the walk around the gardens and it just kept getting better! The grounds are stunning and very thoughtfully curated, and the staff are very helpful, passionate, and excited to share the site with you.

Cons: Hard to find a fault

The staff could not have done more, we will be back, a special place

Beautiful!

Pros: The view and the location of this place is amazing. Really stunning. They also offer game drives and you can walk on the reserve by yourself. Which are both amazing! You can see zebra, loads of antilopes, giraffe, baboons and turtoises. The staff the really the best. Super kind, funny, helpful and sweet. Lunch at the kombuis is good. The water playground near the farmshop is lot of fun for kids (especially during hot days).

Cons: So these are some suggestions that could be better. During the day there aren’t any options for snacks (not even fruit) besides heading to the cafe or the fancy restaurant on the property. So for kids that’s kind of inconvenient. There are children’s meals at the dinner restaurant but they are quite unhealthy. The restaurant itself is quite dark and cheerless. Breakfast is nice but the bread is stale. The music being played all around the hotel is horrible and on repeat. The family room does not have a door or even something of a curtain that divides the two rooms, so when sleeping with your young children (who go to bed earlier), this is very inconvenient.

Fabulous place for an indulgent getaway.

Pros: Excellent location and facilities. Marne and Ria were great and looked after us brilliantly. Lovely pool.

Cons: Dining room didn’t have a view.

Exquisite!

Pros: Bosjes is an amazing place, whether you are a couple or a family. The staff is extremely tentative, Sonika and the girls made sure we feel like home. Delicious food, great facilities and stunning landscape. If you truly want to experience the hospitality of South Africa, Bosjes is the perfect place! I would go back there anytime!

Amazing for a mini break!

Pros: Amazing environment, beautiful rooms & food, nice hike to do with even seeing animals and then a beautiful spa to finish it off! Perfect for a nice short mini break!
