Pros: We stayed at the estate and guesthouse for two nights and had a mixed but overall positive experience. As a new venture, it’s still finding its rhythm and shaping its identity. The setting is a true highlight. Surrounded by vineyards and unspoiled nature, the estate offers stunning mountain views, a wonderfully serene atmosphere, and beautiful hiking trails just a short walk or drive away—making it an ideal base for nature lovers. The owner Dirk is genuinely kind and welcoming, and the service staff were consistently warm, gracious, and attentive. While there were a few aspects that felt a bit unpolished, particularly around consistency and communication, these seemed like natural teething issues rather than major concerns. Overall, the estate has great potential. With time and more consistent communication, it could become something truly special. We would still recommend a visit, especially for guests who enjoy discovering new boutique places early in their journey.
Cons: Our only real challenge was communication with one specific point of contact before and during arrival, which felt unnecessarily abrupt and at times rude. We were not informed proactively that the bistro would be closed during our stay and only became aware of this via Instagram. When we called a few days prior to arrival to ask about food options, the communication from that same point of contact borderline rude and unhelpful. This stood in clear contrast to the warmth, friendliness, and professionalism shown by Dirk and the rest of the team. No other staff member reflected this experience.

Pros: The property is stunning with never-ending beautiful mountain views. There’s enough space to move around but there are few units so there is not a lot of foot traffic.
Cons: There isn’t anything real to “complain” about. It would be nice to have more of a fully functional kitchen in the common room in case you want to make something. It would also be great if some effort was put into sprucing up the room in terms of cleaning and/or updating the decor.
