Mitre's Edge Orchard Suite

Peacefully Mitres Edge.

Pros: Very comfortable suite with enough space for 4 people if your stay is for a couple of days. We were 3 people over 10 days, and we never felt as if we were tripping over each other. Working wine vineyard, and we were able to take nice walks through the vines. Great cheese and wine pairing in the cellar. Close enough to Stellenbosch and access to main roads. Functional kitchen if you wanted to prepare meals. Nice outdoor space

Beautiful Winelands location with a well-equipped, comfortable apartment

Pros: A beautiful location in Stellenbosch, right in the heart of the Winelands. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything needed, including all the kitchen essentials. The beds were comfortable, and having a hot tub and Braai (B-R-A-A-I) facilities was a great bonus. The staff and owner were very friendly and welcoming, which really added to the experience. The only small improvement would be having views of the surrounding vineyards — considering you’re literally submerged in them, it would be lovely to be able to see them. That said, a very enjoyable stay overall and somewhere I’d happily recommend.

Appreciated the owner accommodating us when we had to change a date due to filming schedules.

Pros: Quiet, beautiful surroundings - breakfast was lovely and catered for vegan diets which was very much appreciated.

Beautiful Wine farm stay - great location.

Pros: We were warmly welcomed by our host, Alex, who was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed for a great stay. We were treated to a tasty breakfast of croissants, muffins, fresh fruit, and yoghurt. The property itself is a stunning boutique wine estate, beautiful and full of charm. It also offers easy access to several nearby wine estates and is just an 18-minute drive from Stellenbosch, making it an ideal location for exploring the region.

Super comfy.

Pros: The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I love that there is an aircon. The whole experience was comfortable and cozy.

Cons: I don't love that the large pool is not available to everyone who stays there. We were cornered off where there was no view, while from what I could see over the wall were amazing views poolside.

Pros: Lovely room in the heart of the Winelands. Comfortable bed and bedding. All necessities are available. Hottub right in front of the entrance.

Our stay was wonderful, highly recommended

Pros: I was extremely happy with the accommodation, it was clean, and very comfortable, we were only there for 1 night but I feel like I could have comfortably stayed longer. The host was very friendly. Breakfast was delivered on the dot at 9, and the scones were delicious.

Cons: I can only make 2 suggestions, water and milk in the fridge.

Pros: Fantastic staff, super friendly dogs making the stay feel like home, and the wine was epic!

Cons: Second bedroom was a tad cramped. And an aircon in that room would have been amazing. Main bedroom had an aircon.

Lovely place

Pros: I liked the that the host came out to meet with us and showed us the place and explained on how to navigate the facilities in the accommodation.The breakfast was great as well and was filling .

Cons: We got lost and had to ask around, there was a board , but it was not visible enough, you could easily miss it. Once we missed it ,the GPS could not redirect us.

Pros: Our stay at Mitre's Edge was wonderful. The property was easy to navigate and the wine tasting experience was great! Our room was secluded and very private. The cleaning service and staff were all lovely - they really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant.
