Pros: The location is beautiful. The accomodation is fantastic clean, modern, peaceful and the hospitality outstanding

Pros: Modern comfortable accomodation perfect for exploring the beautiful wine Estates all around. Fully equiped with everything you would need including an outdoor brai.

A beautifully furnished and well thought out unit. The AC was an absolute life saver!

Pros: The keys were conveniently already in the door. The hostess only had to communicate via Whatsapp and upon departure we could simply leave the keys in the key box.

It was perfect for our stay.

Pros: Superb location. Gorgeous Accomodation - excellent facilities. Everything needed was in the cottage - even a proper bath (bliss).

I enjoyed my stay so much it was difficult to leave, so much so that I came back after lunch and stayed another night.

Pros: The thing I love most about this property is the location and then the thoughtful amenities and extras that make the stay special such as the mini bar, Charlotte Rhys products, personalised towels and warm touches like candles and throws. I don’t often find those items in self-catering bookings. The host is also a lovely person which made the stay extra comfortable and memorable. I would also highly recommend Babel for lunch as it’s down the road from the cottage and it was the perfect farm experience.

Cons: There isn’t anything I don’t like.

Fabulous

Pros: We had a fabulous 8 days staying at Mon Reve. The cottage was immaculate, well designed, so well equipped with everything you needed. Well situated between Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek. Super coffee, snacks and an honesty bar. Many wineries nearby to visit - Clos Carlou next door, Babylonstoren, Noble Hill, Bacco and Anura to name only a few. The PotBelly in Knapmuts had super coffee, breakfast and a well-stocked deli and bakery. Woolworths at Paarl was great to stock up on provisions. Charmaine was a fantastic host, very helpful. Highly recommended , we’d love to return. Thank you.

We had a good time !

Pros: Charmaine was a very lovely host and supportive. The housekeeping ladies made a fantastic job, every day fresh towels and cleaning of the lodge. The kitchen was full equipped. For the surroundings of the lodge you should consider living on a farm. Load shedding was not a topic at all because of full solar power supply.

Cons: The level of noise from the road close by has been a topic for us and to be considered if you stay longer like we did.

Excellent cottage, staff and hosts, good location

Pros: Central to many attractions in the area from vineyards to beautiful towns including Capetown. Good road system despite lots of roadworks due to road widening throughout Western Cape.
