Good choice for a getaway with a kid

Pros: Authentic Cape-Dutch home with a large yard all to ourselves, spacious and private, we could relax knowing that our baby's cries were not going to wake the neighbours. Loved the coffee machine and swing chairs and indoor braai area.

Loved it!!

Pros: We were a group of three couples, and the house was perfect for our stay. It was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The open-plan layout of the kitchen, living room, and dining area made it ideal for group gatherings. The thoughtful decor added a special touch, and we appreciated the little extras like board games, dish soap, coffee, tea, and sugar. We also spent a lot of time in the fantastic braai area, which was another highlight of our visit.

Cons: The first night was a bit uncomfortable due to the heat, as there were no fans or air conditioning, but it was a minor inconvenience compared to all the wonderful perks the house had to offer.

Pros: Location is perfect and the hostess went out of her way to accommodate an emergency situation. After a long period of travelling in the Western Cape for research with international collaborators. This accommodation was by far the best with regards to value for money and excellence!

Unbelievably, pleasantly surprising and great!

Pros: Location for our weekend, wedding away was perfect. Loved the small town and central location.

Cons: Amenities were excellent. Loads of space and comfortable. Well appointed and the extra bits. Made for a great weekend!

Pros: A comfy old Cape home with the mod cons. What's not to like? The rustic old shutters, pressed ceilings, sprung floors etc lend a sort of old world charm, while the modern fridge freezer and kitchen make cooking and cleaning a breeze.

Cons: True to the houses of old, plug points are scarce, so bring extender plug adapters to make your life easier.
