Pros: I had a truly wonderful stay at Shalom on the Bay in Gordon’s Bay, Cape Town. From the moment I arrived, the hosts — the husband and wife — were absolutely amazing. They were warm, welcoming, incredibly polite, and genuinely caring throughout my stay. Their kindness made the whole experience feel personal and special. It’s rare to meet hosts who are not only professional but also so down-to-earth and thoughtful. I truly felt at home and would gladly stay there again. Highly recommended!

Cons: What I loved most about Shalom on the Bay in Gordon’s Bay was the privacy and comfort. We had our own separate room, which made the stay feel peaceful and personal. The security was tight, so we felt completely safe throughout our visit. The amenities were also excellent — there was reliable WiFi, hot water at all times, and thoughtful extras like milk, a microwave, and a kettle. Everything we needed was provided, which made the stay convenient and stress-free.

Pros: It’s very close to the beach and great restaurants, and the staff were amazing.

Pros: It was perfect for us as the house was just around the corner from my friends house, he had a rugby party and we were not keen to frive back to Cape Town at 10pm on a Saturday night.

Pros: Very welcoming, friendly and accommodating hosts. Easy to find and an easy distance from cape town airport. Fairly central Gordon's Bay location in a safe neighborhood with secure gated parking. All amenities provided and a comfortable room. Good choice for a long or short stay in Gordon's Bay
