Cape Town gem "Maratski House"

Pros: We were a family of 5 adults that booked this accomodation in November 2025.On arrival we were warmly greeted by the owner Charl. He gave us a full orientation of the place and surrounding . The accommodation itself was amazing. Absolutely neat , clean and well maintained with beautiful gardens that was in full bloom. Beddings and towels were of good quality. Essentials like washing powder , dish washer tablets etc was supplied. The welcome snack pack and friut drinks were much appreciated. Braai area is conveniently located . The home was beautiful in every aspect. It was really a home away from home.

Pros: This property was one of my best stays in Capetown! The facilities are more than just exceptional. The host was friendly and always available to assist. They thought of everything that guests will need when on holiday. I've never seen a self catering property that includes a washing machine and hairdryer! I am beyond amazed and satisfied. The property is clean and located in a safe neighbourhood. It's conveniently located close to most places tourists would like to see. It's so popular even Uber drivers know it! The security set up in the property made it a real safe haven for my family. It's a beautiful and comfortable home away from home.

Pros: We had a lovely stay. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and we had lovely chats while watering the garden. The location was perfectly central and not to far to drive. Will for sure go back🌸

Pros: Marataki House was a home away from home. Extremely comfortable and spacious and has everything you need. Charl was extremely friendly and helpful. It was our first visit to Capetown and he gave us a lot of valuable information. We wish you everything of the best for the future and will definitely be coming back and recommending this accommodation to family and friends.

Cons: The only thing we can complain about is the water pressure.

Excellent home and helpful host.

Pros: The house was beautiful and clean. Shopping malls are a short distance from the home and it feels safe. After staying in hotels for a while, it was refreshing to be in a home setting again. The host was great and very helpful.

Cons: Cape Town is very hot in January and it would have been good if there was air-conditioning in the bedrooms. The living room and kitchen had pleasant temperature.
